The history of sexy lingerie

Lingerie has been hailed as the second skin of people,and there are many kinds of lingerie,such as corset,bra cup,WaistNipper,all-in-one,camisole,short and so on.

In the ancient world,lingerie is made of flax,and the first lingerie can date back to ancient Egyptian times and ancient Greece times.At the beginning of 14th century,a kind of girdle named cotte had been popular because of its stiff material and personal design which could get women into shape.During the 15th century,Spanish created the two chip which was similar to armor,then it spread from the Spanish royal court to the upper class in France and Britain.The lingerie was made of wood,whale bones,metal and leather,and it would grind against women’s body from the front and behind,which affected people’s normal growth and had done untold damage to their health.

In 17th century,the aristocratic women created new corsets by binding women with cloth layer after layer,such as Corsets, bra and waist,to help ladies get themselves into shape which adapted to the requirements of the times and their status.Of course,it also made them elegant slaves.

In 1907,French designer Paul Poiret created the first bra in the name of freedom,which means the times of corsets was over and the times of female emancipation was coming.This invention has driven the evolution of lingerie.

In the early 1930s,the leader of fashion in Paris Mrs Gray use soft flimsy material and Inclined cut rule to design cup underwear which skim female’s curves.Considering the appearance of backless dress，the belt was created in 1934.And now,lingerie trend has been developed with high speed and all kinds of lingerie was shown to all over the world on the right hand stages.
